ABA Provider Focused Behavior Solutions Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
Focused Behavior Solutions, a Washington-based applied behavior analysis therapy provider, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, citing delayed reimbursement payments and high-cost debt as key drivers of its cash flow problems. The company, in-network with Washington and Nebraska Medicaid and multiple commercial plans, has already closed or downsized an underperforming location, eliminated managerial roles, and revised billing processes to speed claims collection. It is now operating under a court-approved 20-week budget and sought authorization to access roughly $68,000 to cover an Oct. 15 payroll for 32 employees across its three locations in Spokane and Walla Walla, Washington, and Lincoln, Nebraska. The company reports total debt and liabilities of $528,898.34, with two-thirds classified as unsecured claims; a creditors meeting is scheduled for Nov. 13.
