Privacy Policy

Medicaid Monitor is operated by Lanphier Ventures, LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. The short version: we collect very little, we do not run advertising trackers, and we never sell your information.

Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to our briefings, we collect your email address. We also see standard email engagement data (whether a message was opened or a link was clicked) through our email delivery provider.

Accounts. If you create a Medicaid Monitor Pro account, we collect your email address and a password, or basic profile information (name and email) if you sign in with Google. We store your account preferences, such as the states and topics you follow.

Payments. If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain records of your subscription status and billing history.

Technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.

Site analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are visited and how readers find us. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives standard technical data about your visit. We look at this information in aggregate; we do not use it to identify individual readers. You can block analytics cookies with common browser tools and extensions without affecting your use of the site.

We do not run advertising trackers or social media pixels, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising purposes. Beyond analytics, the only cookies we set are those required to keep you signed in to your account.

To deliver the briefings and features you signed up for, to operate and secure the site, to process payments, and to communicate with you about your subscription. That is the full list.

Service providers that make the site run: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments), and Google (site analytics, and sign-in if you choose Google sign-in). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. We do not sell or rent subscriber information to anyone, including sponsors or advertisers.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can request access to or deletion of your information at any time by emailing info@medicaidmonitor.org. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except records we are required to keep for tax or legal purposes.

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the new effective date.
