CMS Publishes 2027 Medicare Advantage, Part D Star Ratings

CMS has released 2027 Medicare Advantage and Part D plan data, including star ratings, through the Medicare Plan Finder ahead of open enrollment starting Oct. 15. The ratings measure plan performance on quality and patient experience over the prior three years, helping beneficiaries compare MA plans against Traditional Medicare. CMS reports about 42% of MA plans, covering nearly 71% of enrollees, received four stars or higher for 2027. More details are available in an accompanying CMS fact sheet.
