Knox Community Hospital Signs Deal to Join Kettering Health
Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio, has signed a definitive agreement to join Kettering Health, following a letter of intent reached in July. The deal is expected to close by Jan. 1, pending customary closing conditions and legal and regulatory review. Kettering Health has committed to investing in Knox's facilities, equipment and technology, including an Epic EHR implementation, while maintaining current services, charity care policies and workforce stability. A local advisory board of current Knox board members will provide input on community priorities post-transaction.
