Rep. Ramirez Resolution Seeks Citizenship Path, Medicaid Access

U.S. Rep. Delia Ramirez introduced a House resolution, backed by the Florida Immigrant Coalition and 19 co-sponsors, calling on Congress to create pathways to citizenship for undocumented long-term residents and expand humanitarian protections including asylum access. The resolution also calls for eliminating visa caps, banning restrictions that tie temporary visa holders to a single employer, and ending limits on immigrant access to services and benefits such as Medicaid.
