The acquisition coincides with Cityblock's closure of a $116 million Series E funding round. The deal was announced Thursday in a blog post by Cityblock CEO Toyin Ajayi. The transaction brings together Cityblock's urban-focused Medicaid managed care model with Homeward Health's rural care delivery infrastructure.
